I was brought up in the heart of Wiltshire where I enjoyed an idyllic rural childhood where horse riding, cycling with friends and general mischief was the norm!

My love of flowers started when visiting my paternal grandmother and watching the most amazing Lupins grow throughout the summer. They grew head and shoulders above me and they are still one of my most favourite blooms.

My mother passed down the creative gene & I was soon helping her with the Church floral arrangements. I was very much a hands on type of girl and when offered a flower arranging course at the local college I went for it. I had no idea if I’d be any good but it sounded fun!

10 weeks later and the course tutor took me to one side and suggested I find a proper college course and learn the basics….I had found my ‘thing!’

Three years at College, whilst not always easy gave me an excellent foundation in Floristry, I learnt the skills to push me forward in the floral world and have continued to keep me and my floral standards high.

I’ve worked within the floristry industry for just over 30 years and I still LOVE it. From retail shops, to event to corporate no job is the same, no flower is the same, no season, no event and no wedding is ever the same and that’s why I love it. From installing giant moss bow ties in London to simple bud vases in Wiltshire, each has it’s own story, it’s own journey and delight.

Our Story Unfolds

After many years of working under the heading ‘The Derry Hill Florist’ serving my wonderful village, I decided to spread my wings a little further. My floristry takes me beyond the boarders and it felt right to rebrand and rename. It’s still the same epic floristry but with added feathers!

I will concentrate on Weddings, Celebrations, Events, Celebrations of life and teaching….and anything else in between!

We’re currently the dedicated florist for Bowood estate, so feel safe assured we’re the florist for you no matter the venue!
